Çukurova University, is a state university that has been established in Adana which is an East Mediterranean Region
city of Turkey. It is possibe to reach Adana by highway, railway, and airway from main residential areas.
There are scheduled flights of Turkish Airlines between Ankara-Adana and İstanbul-Adana. Besides this,
in the last years, scheduled and unscheduled daily direct flights or flights
that have a connection has been started from some countries like Germany to Adana.

Mainly, you can get to Adana by highway. Adana is in the middle
of highways that come from, Osmaniye-Gaziantep from east, İskenderun-Hatay from south, Mersin from
west and Ulukışla-Niğde from north. Gülek mountain gate, which is in Pozantı township that is located
in Taurus mountains, is one of the important and main passways that connects cities in south to Central Anatolia
and capital Ankara. Highways between Adana-Gaziantep, Adana-Mersin and Adana-İskenderun provide
a speedy and safe transportation. Adana-Pozantı region of Adana-Ankara highway serve as motorway and

How to reach Turkey and Adana
The best way to travel to Turkey is by air. The regular ways of arriving in Adana is first to fly to Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul which is the largest city of Turkey or Esenboga Airport in Ankara which is the capital city of Turkey. From Istanbul Ataturk Airport or Esenboga Airport you can fly to Adana by many domestic lines such as Turkish Airlines, Onur Air, Pegasus Air, Fly Air etc, or connected flights to Adana from your departure. There are many regular flights from most major cities in Europe, North America and the Far East to the Ataturk International Airport. If you fly by Turkish Airlines you can have a connected flight to Adana. There are also direct flights from some major cities in Europe (e.g. Munich, Koeln, Dusseldorf) to Adana Sakirpasa Airport (pronounced as Shakirpasha).
HOW TO REACH TO BALCALI CAMPUS
Balcalı is the main campus of Çukurova University. Balcalı locates on approximately
10 km north of town centre. You can reach to Balcalı from town centre by Mithat Özsan boulevard
which is name comes from one of our former rector Prof.Dr.Mithat Özsan who has great behoofs to the Univesity.
Students and personnel can get to the campus by using lots of organized service vehicles (city buses and minibuses).
It is satisfactory to mount to private or puplic bus or minibuses that work in main boulevards of town centre
to come to Balcalı campus. You can reach to campus by taking minibuses (white colored-balcalı line),
buses (orange colored) or city buses (red colored) from bus stops in town centre. It takes approximately
20-30 minutes to reach to Balcalı campus from town centre.
You can reach to Balcalı campus from town centre with your own car by following traffic posts
that shows Çukurova University. By following Sabancı Central Mosque - HiltonSa direction from
E-5 road (Turhan Cemal Beriker boulevard) and then after passing Girne bridge 80 meters, turn from the first cross road
to Mithat Özsan boulevard and follow this boulevard for approximately 3 km, you can reach to campus entrance.
As an alternative way, you can use Baraj Street that lies on the north of Adana from town centre.
You must turn to right from cross of Baraj Street and Turgut Özal Boulevard. Then you must move along the buildings of State Regional Irragiton and Dams Affairs. You will reach to Mithat Özsan Boulevard after going 1 km through Seyhan hydro-electric power plant-dam.
HOW TO REACH TO RECTORATE
Çukurova University Rectorate locates on the southwest of campus entrance. After
passing through university security pass, you can reach to rectorate building by turning to right
from the first cross (İş Bank cross) and moving ahead 500 meters. Shutlle Buses pass from
front of rectorate building by making a ring in the campus.
